DOMESTIC TERRORISM AGAINST AN AMERICAN SCIENTIST
(HATE CRIME IN VENICE)
SUMMARY: Dr. Farogh Dovlatshahi an American scientist who emigrated to USA over two decades ago and, who, trained with some of the best academics in England is being tormented and with his family is an object of hate-crime in Venice,California ! Recently torture was added to their ordeals.
The hate-crimers are informants. There appears to be a whole population of them in this area, historically one of the roughest parts of Los Angles. The amount of provocation we receive is horrifying . Indeed, a constant mainstay of this group has been to provoke in order get a reaction, which they can they report on, with corroborators standing by... . Meanwhile, Total Surveillance as we discovered (phone, Internet, watched, followed, tracked) had been in place for a considerable period of time; and, it would have been the job of harassment to provide an excuse for its continuation. We were and continue to be under video surveillance inside our bedroom, bathroom, living room every else in the house. We are trespassed, broken into and insulted, abused verbally psychologically and socially.
What we are experiencing is clearly violations of Constitutional Rights, Civil Rights and Liberties, and clearly violation of our basic Human Rights. This last has been reported to Amnesty International.
The main informant on the ground, someone with a history robbery, JK who has been thoroughly reported to LAPD, unilaterally took charge of coordination of harassment and elevated it to an astonishing level, over a considerable period of time (perhaps 4.5 at least). And this wasn't just confined to our home, but continued wherever we went. Large sums of tax-payers money and resources in man and materials have been spent on this horrific project.
At a time when the rest of the world frantically seeks people of high level skills and education -- and at a time when USA is short of 3.5 million math/sci workers, researchers and educators, we are torturing an immigrant scientist who is an American citizen living with his wife, a former teacher.
Is this what our attitude should be towards our immigrants who come with so much hope to America? Also, why should this problem not have been solved as soon as it appeared?. Why should it have continued, as it has, in one form or another for such a long time.
My wife and I come from very good backgrounds, we are both highly educated so we took a rational legal approach to the problem; we have called the Police on nearly every occasion of harassment, we have talked to them one-on-one. Similarly we have contacted the FBI by faxes and in calls. WE have talked to local and national representatives. In the face of truly horrific extended torment and provocation, we have sought to act within the framework of law and do the right thing, the proper thing with patience and forbearance. What if what is happening to us is common affecting 1000s of people?
Are there in the LONG RUN , NO national security implications when our policies are such that they automatically confer malice on peaceful mid-eastern minorities? This is a very serious question that we must address in order to have a PROBLEM SOLVING POLICY in Law and Administrative Practices. Our experience during this horrific hate-crime episode has been that there is at this time NO POLICY and NO POSITIVE ADMINISTRATIVE PRACTICES.
This state of affairs must be addressed legislatively at local, state and national levels.

A group of informants under the direction of JK (already reported) in Venice, Calif. have caused extensive damage both to property and lives in the small locality of Venice in California. In other communications, it has been referred to as "A Mini Gitmo in Venice". More recent events in Wisconsin have elevated the significance of what is going on here. At some point we made,what turned out, to be the huge mistake of asking JK to make less noise. People came to us and warned us that he was going to "get even with us". Get even with an old couple using all the resources at his disposal.
There had been government interference in our lives over the past decade. But it was beyond all proportions disrupting our daily lives, mess up our Internet, as they did over several years.Our surveillance was given over to criminal informant JK, who manipulated everyone to his own illegal benefit. Now he had it all: with information from his links with law enforcement at hand, surveillance at his finger tips (phone and Internet) and total surveillance already granted by agencies of local and national government who are supposed to protect us. He felt breakage, trespassing,stealing, lying, playing virtually any game he wanted. And so we had a super-potential for hate-crime all set up. Malice guaranteed.
It is remarkable how one many and an utterly unethical world view tow ards new citizenry of Mid-eastern origin created a situation monstrous consequences for inter-community relation, social and national integration is monstrous.
Are millions of people of Islamic and /or mid-eastern origin viewed in the same perspective as we have been?
What in a fair system would have amounted to a couple of hours of investigation by the Police, FBI and DHS to get the picture of what is going on: first stop it then find a way to resolve it. Then write up relevant legislative and administrative proposals.
We have had here one the costliest operations per citizen family in US History !. Some took money out of it, others took malice satisfaction, and JK got both malice satisfaction and dollars.
A GRUESOME SUMMING UP
Extensive reports have been made to the Police and the FBI over a long period of time. The Dept. of Homeland Sec. too was contacted. And, nothing has been done. As several policemen have told me, "we only really are effective AFTER something has happened". This is was a gruesome summing-up, all of it, in a nutshell.
TORTURER-IN-CHIEF
JK, the chief criminal informant on the ground, took advantage of the information and realizing that the government felt hostile and at best indifferent. With high degree of coordination culled from years of informant work, he went to work to mis-inform, mis-represent and manipulate the situation. Now with information link to law-enforcement and investigative agencies at his disposal, he elevated the situation unethical surveillance to impose his own problems with us.
VIOLATIONS OF PRIVACY
Utterly meaningless as it may seem, they imposed Total Surveillance and gave JK and his group access to Internet, phone and video surveillance inside our bathroom, bedroom, living room, and everywhere in our yard.
Ours is the story of how rigidity and essentially "Policy-less" organizations -- that are supposed to protect us, that are paid to protect us that swore to protect us -- led to this horror and tragedy of an old couple being harassed, torment and tortured by a highly organized group of individuals, not skinheads, as in Wisconsin. These are informants who have otherwise operated in the Venice and Los Angeles area to deal with issues of gangs and drugs.
Criminal informants have become the single most significant cause for what Alexander Natapoff who made a presentation in front of a Senate Committee about the erosion of the judicial system by virtue.
IMPORTANT QUESTIONS
Is there a more wide-spread harassment, torment and social/psychological torture of Middle-Eastern Americans. Is there a de facto systematic degradation of their life being enforced in a silent? The readiness with which my family life came under prolonged and brutal attack has been remarkable. Remarkable too has been the un-willingness by those who are employed by the public to do something about it.
The Hate-Crime situation here is worthy of intense attention. And a VENICE INQUIRY is urgently needed. Email to the Governor of California Jerry Brown.
The atrocities continue, although less frequent since it was made public the JK Terror Group, as it may be properly called.
JK TERROR GROUP
This group may properly be called "a domestic terror or terrorist group". Terrorism is not to be narrowly construed as only what foreigners do to us, it ought to be re-defined so as to include groups like JK Terror Group. Every aspect of American Law and Society is violated by this group. The entire spectrum. It couldn't get worse. When we call the FBI to tell them about it, as we have over the years, they remain indifferent. And the same with the Police who clearly are not and have not done anything to stop after such a long passage of time.
The location of the crime approximately which has been going on very intensively for over 3 years is at Broadway St (Ave.) and 4th. And the area around it: such as 5th and Broadway. There is great disturbance in the form of sever motor-bike noise, with deliberate intent to disturb and torment, dog barking and cars and trucks with modified exhaust pipe, made to make as much noise as possible.
I encourage our community in all walks of life to whistle blow on those who are responsible for these horrors if you have observed it, so that as a community, we can bring it to an end. And, as a locality, state and nation pass relevant legislation. And, create local administrative structures to prevent and manage their occurrences.
A FAILURE OF MORAL IMAGINATION
The current situation represents a failure of moral imagination on the part of those who are supposed to care, supposed to help, supposed to investigate, to participate to solve.
Therefore a public inquiry to be called Venice Public Inquiry is needed.
